This company is friendly, knowledgeable, did a great job, I recommend. And Sean is super friendly, and a great guy really knows his stuff. He put in a boiler along with Mike who is very friendly also. I am happy, and looking forward to doing business with them in the future. And I would like to give a shout out to Maria, who coordinated and put the whole thing together.

From beginning to end, Zenner and Ritter and the people they have sent to represent their company have been nothing but professional. A gentleman by the name of Brian came to estimate the job. He helped me develope a plan for what could be done with my boiler system as it was 50 years old and very inefficient. He laid out different packages and several financing options. He was very well informed and left no questions unanswered. A gentleman by the name of Shawn is technician that installed the unit. I use the word “technician” because that’s what’s professional but this young man was an artist. He took out an ancient unit that was cobbled together over and over through the last few decades and created a streamlined and clean install that’s intuitive to work on and understand, sits in a smaller footprint and is pretty easy on the eyes. He takes an incredible amount of pride in his work and it absolutely shows in the finished product. He made a great impression and felt very comfortable with him in my home. The work was done over 2 days and on each day, Shawn had a different technician there to assist. Both Mike and Ty(I believe was his name) were also very professional and respectful going through the house(they had to do a lot of running back and forth to the truck) Overall, this was a great experience and I got to meet some great guys that are very skilled in their trade.

Recommended by my neighbor who just had their furnace replaced. Everything from start to finish was fast and easy with Zenner and Ritter, and a good deal cheaper, too. They scheduled me for a consult same day and were on time. Jimmy the salesman/tech was very friendly and knowledgeable. Install team (Shelton) was friendly, fast and on time. All while a couple thousand less than any other company I called. Can't ask for more than that.

My furnace started making strange noises and as soon as I called Zenner and Ritter they put me on the service list and kept in contact with me until their service agent James came to look at it. He checked the furnace found the problem resolved it and had good advice as well. Definitely recommend!

Despite their high online rating, we have had an awful experience. We recently learned that some dissatisfied customers refer to them as "Zip & Rip". In 2022, they installed a Mitsubishi split heating unit at our Lake cottage. This last December we found the unit running but not generating heat. Tech came out ($162) on 12/7 and diagnosed no refrigerant in the system, and recommended a pressure test. Tech came out again 12/11 ($646) to perform the pressure test, and said an icicle likely created a hole in the piping, & additional repairs would be needed. (I question the viability of these units in the Buffalo weather, and we were never advised to protect the unit). Tech came out again 12/16 ($1,105) to repair the leak & recharge the system. Done? Nooo. On 1/25 we returned to the cottage to find the unit not functioning and our water pipes were frozen. Tech came out 1/27 (no charge) to conclude refrigerant was needed AGAIN. We received no follow-up from the office. I left a voice message and sent a text to our salesperson but received no response. At this point, we lost all faith in Zenner's skills. We had another Buffalo company come out and assess the unit. The hole in the piping was never correctly repaired, causing the refrigerant to empty from the unit. To add further injury, the Mitsubshi unit was damaged as a result of the unit operating without refrigerant. Mitsubishi will not warranty the unit since the damage was the result of the poor work by Zenner. We are now facing a $4,100 invoice to replace/repair the unit.

I had a problem with my backup generator.I called to Zenner& Ritter,inc.The girl who received my call was so polite and professional.She sent me a technician named Rich Moss who was very knowledgeable. He answered my every questions in a professional way. He fixed an issue in short period of time. To be honest I am very pleased with them.

12/30/24, Nick & Andy came this morning to perform my annual maintenance on my new boiler. Nick was polite and explained everything they had to do, they were here just over 30 minutes. Before they left we scheduled my annual appointment for 2025. I just hope I receive an email confirming this date & time. April 30, 2024 I had my yearly generator maintenance done. The tech's did a great job, considering it was raining out. Both techs were friendly and explained all questions that I had. Thank you. March 10, 2023 & Zenner & Ritter for 2 estimates, 1 on a new Boiler, and the other on a whole house generator. Rob Schadel spent a long time with me explaining and showing pictures of a new Lennox Boiler installed in another customer's home. He's friendly and is knowledgeable about the boiler systems and installation. Before he left, he sent a quote to my email so I could decide later what I wanted to do. Earl Farley also came to my house to give me an estimate on a whole house Generac generator. He also was friendly and has years of experience with Z&R. He too explained everything and showed me where the generator would be placed, and gave me a quote, which I signed that day to have it installed in about 5 weeks or more. It's nice to have a company that you can trust and rely on. The BBB gives them a 5 star rating. After I have the Boiler and Generator installed, I will give a complete review with pictures.
